New product: Narva LED Load Light with Glare Shield
Narva’s popular LED Load Light now comes with a glare shield to help protect your and other road users' eyesAutomotive lighting specialist Narva has announced its LED Load Light has been upgraded with the addition of a glare shield, so now drivers can keep a watchful eye over their truck or trailer after dark without compromising their vision.
For loading or unloading after dark, or checking load restraints by the side of the road, the Narva 9-36V LED Load Light utilises a powerful 25W ‘Cree’ LED to provide a 2500 Lumen spot beam down each side of the truck or trailer. Each light can produce a claimed 1 Lux of light at 160 metres, delivering extra visibility when reversing, adjusting the load, or simply checking that all is okay.
Designed to be mounted to the truck’s side mirror frames, the Narva LED Load Light now comes with a glare shield, protecting both the driver’s eyes when the load lights are in use as well of those of other road users, minimising the risk of distraction or dazzling.
The light unit itself features a tough die-cast alloy housing and is fully sealed to IP68 standards.
The lights are reverse polarity and surge protected, and Narva says installation is extremely straight forward. The lights are available in a right-hand side format or as a pair; each kit also includes a universal mirror mounting bracket for easy fitment.
